Launching on Solana
Paired with SOL, on Meteora
Solana tokens launch on Meteora's bonding curve, graduate to a Meteora pool with all liquidity locked, and pay 3.125% on every trade.
How a Solana launch works
A Solana token is paired with SOL. It trades on Meteora’s bonding curve until it graduates, then moves into a Meteora pool. A small Bluu program collects Bluu’s share of the fees and runs the token’s insurance pool.
- Every buy and every sell pays 3.125% (3.13% once graduated; tokens launched before the rise pay 2.5%). There is no creator tax on Solana.
- All of the liquidity is locked forever at graduation. Nobody, the creator included, can pull it.
- Insurance, rug detection, the developer rating and the dev revenue share work as on the other chains, with the same attestors.
- The token's image, description and links are carried in its standard Solana metadata.
Where the 3.125% goes
| Share | Of every trade |
|---|---|
| Token insurance pool (first 30 days), then the site-wide fund | 1.5% |
| Meteora's protocol fee | 0.625% |
| Creator | 0.5% |
| Platform (8% of it to the dev revenue share) | 0.5% |
The split is the same after graduation, where Meteora’s pool rounds the fee to 3.13%. Tokens launched before the fee rose keep the 2.5% they launched with (1.0% to insurance) for life; each token’s trade panel shows its own fee.
Where this stops
- No Early Lock. Meteora delivers every buy straight to the buyer, so early buys can’t be held in escrow.
- No dead-coin recovery. The liquidity is locked forever, so a dead token’s liquidity can’t be recovered by anyone.
- No creator tax: a creator earns their 0.5% share only.
- No 3% wallet cap and no buy-back and burn: from day 30 all 1.5% goes to the site-wide fund. The sniper tax works differently: see Trading.
- No Hold Mode.
- Trades cost 3.125% on Solana, against 2.5% on the other chains, because Meteora keeps a share of every fee. Insurance gets the same 1.5% as everywhere else.
